JAAGA received the notice on Misawa AB from LTG Satoh, assistance air attache in Washington DC. 　Misawa Air Base was selected as best Air Base of United States Air Force this year.　Congratulations.
　　On 17 August, the ceremony of "The Commander in Chef's Annual Award for Installation Excellence" was held at the Pentagon, Misawa Air Base is awarded as the winners of the 2005 Commander-in-Chief’s Annual Award for Installation Excellence.　From Misawa, Brig.Gen.William J.Rew, 35FW/CC, the proxy of mayor of Misawa City and Sergeant Oikawa as JASDF representative, working at the liaison office of 3rd Wing JASDF, participated to this ceremony.　It is a splendid achievement since Kadena Air Base wined in 1985.　This award system was established in 1985.　(Noticed by Lt.Col.
