On 28th Oct. 2003, the JAAGA secretariats Ochi and Hachiya carried out the lecture about national security etc. at Professor Shikata's seminar at Teikyo University.　　Although this association has recommended the university students to visit U.S. military bases (like Yokota AB), there was the strong request that USFJ wants to give a lecture by going to a university from U.S. side.　When we received this proposal from USFJ, we asked of Professor Shikata who is also a SDFs' big senior (Lt.General, JGSDF retired), he soon accepted and it became progress of realization in the busy schedule on 28th Oct.. 　However, U.S. side had an important conference suddenly, when it offered as since the lecturer dispatch including proxy became difficult, if Ochi and Hachiya are sufficient, it was consented readily and the lecture was carried out.　Secretariat Ochi became best opening to consider and speak about the knowledge of active-duty dates based on experience of Tsubasa-Kai's U.S. tour this year, visiting Guam with PACAF invitation, the visit to China for a member of the China Politics & Economics Conference (Self Defense Forces alumnus), etc.　Based on the experience as the military attache to Israel, secretariat Hachiya carried out the lecture which analyzed keenly the high situation in the Middle East of students' concern.　Whole student was able to be especially boiled in the noted solution to a student's eager question based on experience of the liaison office chief of Air Staff Office.　　According to Professor Shikata, there are many lecture requests about the national and international security also from the student side, and he had gone out more often by the request from every place in the past several years.　In addition, the sharp change of our country's security circumstance gave me the view that there is a thing secure as those who have been engaged in defense for years.　Even the dinner party was prepared to two us after the lecture closure, and the talk rose further.　Later on, Professor Shikata to "student's reaction was greatest.　The thing which a student wants to know is learning the defense as real study from the Self Defense official who played an active part in the FEBA of defense instead of the rationale of a high security.
