Annual JAAGA invitational golf competition was opened at Tama Hills Golf Course on 3 June.　Since last year, we have competitions twice a year, spring and autumn.　This time is the first one of this year.　The president of JAAGA (Gen.Muraki, retired) and regular & associate member, totally 42 members participated.　And from USAF Japan, Lt.Gen. Wright (5AF/CC) and 18 active duties joined.　According to the weather forecast on the previous day, a rainfall was estimated, then all members prepared for rainy day.　But we had no rain during we played golf, it was caused of our well behavior.　General Wright could meet and play golf with JAAGA vice president, Lt.Gen.(Ret.) Yamaguchi, at the golf course since 10 years.　They worked together at J-3 when Gen. Wright was assigned to the headquarters of United States Armed Forces Japan.　We could smoothly operate the competition, because of our rich experience of competition operation.　We deeply express our special thanks to the volunteers who supported the competition, 2 USAF members and 5 JAAGA officers.　Next JAAGA golf competition is scheduled on 23 November (Wed, Japanese holiday), please check your calendar.　(Reported by secretariat Ochi)
