We had the 8th Annual General Assembly on 25th April '03 at Grand Hill Ichigaya 　At assembly, activities and financial statements of past fiscal year on JAAGA were reported, and the proposal of annual activities and budget plans were decided.　On this date, President Ishizuka and other heads of the officers left from their position, and new heads were elected.  We had lecture session after general assembly, inviting Brigadier General Remington, Commander of 18^th Wing, as guest lecturer.　He had lecture latest topic of “18th Wing’s Operations in Air and Space Expeditionary Forces”, and answered to questions by audience.  We had successful reception, 200 participants and distinguished guests joined, Defense Minister Ishiba, General Waskow and his staffs and others.　In opening remarks, new JAAGA president Muraki introduced letter from Brigadier General Waters, the former Vice commander of 5th AF.　This letter is replied letter to support- message on “Operation Iraqi Freedom” by General Ishizuka.　In this letter Gen,Waters expressed sincere appreciation to JAAGA support and proud of all the members of his wing deployed in Saudi Arabia.　(Reported by secretariat Yotsue)
