On 3 (Sat) October, 2009 Special Olympics in Misawa was carried out at Misawa Air Base in fine autumn weather. 　Colonel Robert Greg, vice commander of Misawa AB. and about 200 USAF airmen behaved as host of the Olympics, and the athletes from "Mominoki - Gakuen (37 persons)", "Kakehashi - Ryo (36 persons)" and "Otasukeman - Club (5 persons)" participated in.　Mr.Yamamoto, secretary of JAAGA Misawa branch, took an active part in as executive of this event.　JAAGA donated to this Olympics, and Mr.Maruyama, head of Misawa branch, handed support money to Col.Greg, the representative of 2009 Misawa Special Olympics.
