JAAGA supports JFY2010 US-Japan NCO Exchange Program

  On 16 (Wed.)February, JAAGA chairman Kagawa and three secretariats called on Lt.Gen.Field, 5AF/CC, at the headquarters of Fifth Air Force on Yokota Air base in order to hand the support item for USAF-JASDF NCO Exchange Program. Chairman Kagawa handed the support item to Command C.M.Srg.Kaiser who was present to this visit. C.M.Srg.Kaiser is the key person of this program. This exchange program was started in 1996 for aiming to improve mutual understanding and friendship between NCOs of JASDF and USAF. USAF will accept JASDF NCOs according to the plan below. Commander Field expressed his thanks to our support for this program and said "This program is very instructive for mutual understanding for field-level, and I have received a report which the participants think this program is so marvelous. I would appreciate continued JAAGA support to this program (summary)." C.M.Srg.Kaiser has a plan to visit JASDF Kokami AB to observe USAF NCOs training there, and enlisted airmen. At this meeting, JAAGA award, SPORTEX and other JAAGA activities became topics of conversation, then commander Field showed deep understanding to our activity. (reported by secretariat Harada)
