2009 JASDF-USAF NCOs Exchange program was carried out at Matsushima Air Base, Miyagi Prefecture in Northern Japan, from 22nd to 26th February in 2010.　This is the first time for JASDF and USAF to perform this program at JASDF's training wing, a unit of Air Training Command (ATC).　Up to now, this program was held at JASDF combat wing, unit of Air Defense Command 　JASDF planned to share the opportunity of NCO exchange to the airmen of Training Command, and coordinated with USAF and ATC.　They could smoothly complete their coordination, because JASDF and USAF units operate sister series aircraft, F-16CJ (USAF) and F-2(JASDF).　Exchange period was short, but the first attempt was successful.　JAAGA received the appreciation letter from Maj.Gen.Sugiyama, 4W/CC JASDF, for our support to this program.
