As of 26th August, Colonel Salvatore A.Angelella was installed as the commander of 35th Fighter Wing and the commander of Misawa Air Base.　Lt.General Bruce A.Wright, 5AF/CC, organized the change of command ceremony in hanger at Misawa AB.　Mr.Ozawa, head of JAAGA Misawa branch attend to this ceremony as the representative of our organization.　JASDF members working together at Misawa AB, the representatives of local governments, the supporting groups members and US military members and their families were invited. The ceremony was started with singing of national anthems, Japan and the United States, then General Wright conferred a decoration on General Rew who left the commander's post.　And the commander's flag of 35th Fighter Wing which had been returned to Gen.Wright by Gen.Rew was handed out to Col.Angelella.　It was very impressive ceremony.　JAAGA presented the plaque to Gen.
