Conferment of JAAGA Award 2005 began as a start in Kadena Air Base.　Annual Award ceremony of Kadena Air Base was held at Kadena NCO club from 7:00 PM on 28th January, 2005.　Vice president Hoso and Maj.Gen. Ishidu (Head of JAAGA Naha Branch) attended it.　At ceremony, JAAGA award were presented to two winners.　Vice president Hoso read letter of appreciation, then handed it and memorial plaques to winners.　Winners are C.M.Sergeant Yukio Kamijoh from JASDF Naha Air Base and S.M.Sergeant Gary T.Bennett from USAF Kadena Air Base. Outline of their excellent contribution for promoting mutual understanding and friendship between both countries are described in the linked page.　Maj.Gen.Takiwaki, Commander of Naha AB, and 5 JASDF members from Naha AB participated to ceremony and praised winners.　(Reported by vice president Hoso)
