On 22nd September, Colonel John F.Newell �V(374AW/CC) carried out Air Force Ball '07 in Yokota for celebration of USAF 60th anniversary.　Secretariat & Mrs.Bandoh and member Yamaoka and Ishikawa, participated to event.　And chief NCOs from neighbor JASDF units, Iruma and Fuchu AB, were invited.　In this ball, national anthem of both countries (USA and Japan) and Air Force Song were performed by all attendants, then birthday cake-cut ceremony was done for memory of foundation of USAF.　Then commander of 5th Air Force awarded to excellent airmen for their distinguished service.　During award ceremony, Lt.Gen.Wright talked to all participants about air power of United States since 1944 before establishment of USAF.　And he pointed they were requested to contribute for mighty USAF from now on.　After ceremony ended, dance party was started.　All enjoyed dancing and conversation. 　(Reported by secretariat Bandoh)
