On 27th June '04, Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) had ceremony of 50th anniversary at Iruma Air Base, Saitama Japan.　Mr.Ishiba, Director General of Defense Agency, Diet members, General Tsumagari (Chief of Staff, JASDF) and Lieutenant General Waskow, Commander of US Forces Japan and Fifth Air Force (USAF), and distinguished guests joined.　At ceremony, Gen.Tsumagari expressed gratitude to all predecessors on having established foundation for today's JASDF in difficult era, and explained current status and future view of JASDF.　On that day, JASDF retired members were invited for celebrating of 50th anniversary at all JASDF's air bases.
　　On 28th June, JASDF and Tsubasa-kai held memorial lecture and reception together at Grand Hill Ichigaya.　About 100 JASDF active duties, many members of Tsubasa-kai and JAAGA were present at lecture.　Lecturers were Mr.Goroh Takeda, retired General(JASDF) and former Chairman of Joint Staff Office, and Mr.Ikuo Satoh, former ambassador to United Nations.　Gen.Takeda's subject was "Retrospection of JASDF foundation term", and Mr.Sato's was "The required issues to Self Defense Forces which activities internationalize."　Both subjects were very interesting to all attendants
　　Lecture attendants, Tsubasa-Kai / JAAGA members and distinguished guests joined to reception which was opened after lecture.　About 10 persons joined from USAF, included Lt.Gen.Waskow.　Social gathering was started by leading of a toast of General Muraki, president of JAAGA. 　Pleasant conversation spread here and there, and they did think to JASDF's foundation term.　Wonderful reception was ended in twinkling of eyes.
