Mr.Ishikawa, Mr.Yamaoka, secretariat Ochi, Enoki and Bandoh attended to the ceremony. After Japan and U.S. national flags going on platform and blowing of Japan and United States national anthems, Col.Goodwin conferred a medal upon Col.Story who would leave. Then he introduced Col.Wyatt to participants and stated "Today, we could welcome new commander to Yokota AB and our community. My hope is that all of you would get friendship with Col.Wyatt like as Col.Story". And Col.Goodwin handed flag of Mission Support Group to Col.Wyatt commander's , which had been returned by Col.Story, then commanding authority was succeeded.
Col.Story mentioned on platform as follow. "For this 2 years, I could completed my mission with cooperation by members of Civil Engineering Sq., Communication Sq., Mission Support Sq., Security Forces Sq., Logistics Readiness Sq., Contracting Sq., and Services Division controlled under 374th MSG. Thank you for your support". After that, Col.Wyatt went on platform and stated, "I think it's my honor to succeed commanding authority of 374th MSG. There is such a splendid unit nowhere. My wife, Sherry, and I look forward to working with best airmen of United States Air Force"
After ceremony, we joined welcome reception held at Officers Club, there we could meet leading officers of Yokota AB. At this ceremony, participants to JAAGA 10th anniversary event, Brig.Gen.Reheiser, Col.Goodwin, CMSgt.James Roy and others, applauded all event of 10th anniversary, especially lecture by General Myers.
