35FW, Command Change

　　On 17th January 2007, Lt.Gen.Bruce A.Wright, commander of United States Forces Japan and Fifth Air Force, hold command change ceremony of 35th Fighter Wing at 949th hangar of Misawa AB..　Mr.Ozawa, head of JAAGA Misawa branch, attended.　Ceremony was solemnly held in conformity with tradition of U.S. Air Force.　At stage, predecessor commander, Brig.Gen. Salvatore A.Angelella, returned commander's flag to General Wright.　Then Gen.Wright passed it successor commander, Colonel Terrence J.O'Shaugnessy, then commanding authority was transferred.　General Angelella is reassigned as Deputy Director, Strategic Planning and Policy, Headquarters U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii, his family will stay in Misawa until June because of his children's education. 　Col.O'Shaugnessy from Neris AFB., Nevada, received greeting of welcome from many peoples at welcome reception which was held at Misawa Officers Club after ceremony.　At farewell party for Gen.Angelella held on 12 Jan., Mr.Ozawa presented JAAGA plaque by way of appreciation for his cooperation and support to JAAGA.　(Reported by Mr.Ozawa, head of Misawa branch)
