New year party co-hosted by Yokota Air Base and Yokota AB friendship clubs chain was carried out at Yokota NCO Club from 6 p.m. of 23 Jan. 2011.　JAAGA president Tsumagari and secretariat Arai participated in.　The base commanders of Iruma, Fuchu and Tachikawa ABs of JASDF were invited.　Akishima friendship club joins to the clubs chain this year, 7 friendship totally are now.　NCO club was crowded with very many participants.　The entrance of national flags with honor guards, the singing national anthem of the United States and Japan a cappella by the vocal group, the greeting speech by commander of Yokota AB, and new year speech by the president of Hamura-Yokota friendship club were followed.　Col.Feather sincerely expressed the appreciation words for the supporting to USAF by neighbor citizen and pointed that the US-Japan alliance should be more strengthened.　And he explained that the headquarters of Air Combat Command of JASDF will move to Yokota AB from Fuchu this year, also introduced his friend, Col.Hanzawa (commander of 1st Air Depot Tachikawa Office, JASDF) who was worked together in the state of Kuwait.　Col.Feather emphasized the importance of the strong tie between two countries.　After then, the barrel opening, toast, dinner and social time we had.　It was very pleasant new year party and we could get to know many peoples.　The party was closed with ceremonial hand‐clapping.
