"Friendship Clubs' New Year Party" was carried out at Yokota NCO Club by the friendship clubs of Yokota neighbor cities from 6:00p.m. of 17th Jan. 2010.　JAAGA vice president Ochi, JAAGA chairman Hirose, three JAAGA secretariats (Takahashi, Bandoh and Minamoto) and JAAGA member Ishikawa participated in this party.　JASDF airmen from Iruma AB and Fuchu AB took part in.　Since last year, Oume-Yokota Exchange Club joined to this group.　Party was started with national flags entrance by Yokota Honor Guard, national anthem performed by Mizuho Youth Band, greeting speech by Yokota AB commander, introducing group commanders of 374AW, greeting speech by 6 clubs' representatives, honor guest speech and introducing guests.　Colonel Hicks, commander of Yokota AB, had new year greeting and stated "we would like to appreciate on supporting to USAF by good friends, and we want to strengthen more our great friendship this year."　President of Mizuho-Yokota Exchange Club had speech as the representative of 6 clubs, he talked about history of Yokota base and residents, memorial service of B-29 crews in Hamamtsu, ceremony of returning Rising-Sun flag to local family.　He added "65 years had past since WWII had ended, and today we six clubs can have new year party with American friends, it's so significance." 　After then, we had barrel opening ceremony, toast, dinner, conversation etc..　At the conclusion of this party, we all performed ceremonial hand clapping, then the party was over.
