On 21st and 22nd of August, the US- Japan Friendship Day 2010 in Yokota AB was carried out. It's the first air festival for Col. Feather who has arrived at the commander of Yokota AB in last May. It was fine day but extremely hot. At the apron area, the military aircraft of US and Japan was displayed, the remarkable was 2 F-22s Rapter, the most sophisticate and strongest stealth fighter in the world from Holloman AFB, NM.. Many attractions were performed on indoor and outdoor stages. 3 JAAGA secretariats, Mr.Yamamoto, Mr.Bandoh and I attended with wives to the memorial reception held at Yokota NCO Club  The base commander and the senior NCO from Fuchu Air Base participated in this event and deepened interchange with USAF members. At the reception Col Feather expressed gratitude on supporting to USAF, and introduced that this year is very special, 70th anniversary of Tama airfield, 65th anniversary of Yokota AB and 50th anniversary of US-Japan Security Treaty.
