Colonel and Mrs. Paul "Otto" Feather, commander of Yokota Air Base and 374 Airlift Wing, held Open House 2010 event at the commander official residence from 13:00 p.m. to 14:30 p.m. on 5 (Sun) Dec..　Base commander of Iruma AB and vice commander of Air Defense Operation Group (Fuchu AB) from JASDF, local governors around Yokota AB and many other guests were invited by Col.Feather.　　JAAGA officer Bandoh and Minamoto participated in this event.　Col.&Mrs.Feather received the guests at the entrance and we were guided to party area, there we could enjoy conversations with the key executives of Yokota AB and other guests.　　During the party, we are treated to wonderful cuisine (Japanese and Western), drinks and cakes.　At this party, we had a chance to talk with CMSrg. Kaiser, Command Chief Master Sergeant of USFJ and 5AF, he expressed appreciation for JAAGA supports like as Nikko Tour, JASDF-USAF NCO Exchange program and others.　　At the closing speech, Col.Feather said "Though 7 months past since we had arrived at Japan, we could meet many peoples we could say lifelong friends.　Christmas season is the most important season for us to warm friendship with families and friends.　We say that the peoples who we meet at our assigned place are our families or our relatives.　In this meanings, we are very pleased to work together and spend a time with you like this kind of event.　Merry Christmas from my wife and I, also our staffs.　And have a happy new year" (outline).　We could touch the warm hospitality in this Open House event.
