On the 3rd of July (Sat), Independent Day 2010 event, named "Celebrate America", was carried out at Yokota AB by the sponsorship of Colonel Feather, commander of 374th Airlift Wing.　JAAGA chairman Kagawa, secretariat Bandoh and Minamoto joined, and the base commander of Fuchu AB, the senior enlisted airmen and others from JASDF bases took part in.　In the 15th hanger, AF Band of the Pacific is performing American musics and the hamburgers, Hot dogs and fried chickens were served to guests, airmen and their families.　We very enjoyed them with other guests,USAF airmen and their families.　After band's performing, Col.Feather had greeting speech on welcoming guests, celebrating Independent Day and thanking to volunteers on this event.　Many events like as go-cart riding, kid playing, touching animals and others, were carried out around the hanger, and the event place was crowded with many families.　It was the very pleasant event. （reported by Minamoto)
