On 20th Jan. (Sat.), Yokota Air Base held new year party in cooperation with five Yokota Exchange Clubs (YEC as follow) at Yokota NCO Club.　Nakatsuka JAAGA vice president, four JAAGA secretariats and one regular member attended it.　Two JASDF base commanders, Fuchu and Iruma AB, were invited to this party. 　Fussa, Akiruno, Mizuho and Hamura YEC jointed last year, MusasiMurayama YEC joins this year.　After national flags entrance by honor guard and bamboo flute playing of US - Japan National anthem, the toastmaster introduced sponsors and distinguished guests of this party. Colonel John F.Newell, base commander of Yokota AB, said " we who live at Yokota AB are kindly treated by Japanese people, so we must be refined guests with gratitude. We understand that the friendship between Japan and United States is really important and friendship and exchange with neighbor is important too.
