New Year Celebration party 2007 by Yokota AB and 4 friendship organizations was held at Yokota NCO's club on 21st January.　President Takegouchi, 3 secretariats and 2 regular members attended to this party from JAAGA.　Though Fussa Yokota Exchange Club had sponsored till last year, since this year 4 organizations and Yokota AB sponsored new year party.　They are "Fussa Yokota Exchange Club", "Mizuho Yokota Friendship Association", "Akiruno Yokota Exchange Club" and "Hamura Yokota Friendship Club".
　　The party started with saluting to national flags of Japan and United States held by honor guard, and national anthem of both countries were performed with Syakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute).　Then we had sponsors introduction and greeting speech.　The outline of speech by Colonel Goodwin, Yokota base commander, is "Happy New Year, 2007.　I'm very honor that I could celebrate new year with you at Yokota Air Base as base commander.　This year is 60th anniversary since United States Air Force was established. We are very proud of USAF's tradition.　I hope that you all could deepen mutual understanding and improve the friendship between neighbors and Yokota air base during the first new year party sponsored by this 4 clubs.　I pray for you happiness of this year.　Thank you very much."
　　After this, we had barrel opening, toasting, dinner and chatting.　We enjoyed Jazz music performed by PACAF band.　Party was over with Japanese appreciative clapping. (Reported by secretariat Minamoto)
